Before I dove into the real estate business I was working in IT as a team lead. Working with people and guiding them through their problems and fears. I always had a passion for service and outstanding client service in everything I do.
Very soon in my career, I realized that I did not move to Canada to shovel the snow, pay the bills, and live an average life. But, deep inside, I felt trapped. We all know that climbing the career ladder involves sacrificing family time. Due to traveling and meetings, it is hard to balance work and family life. I wish to spend more time with my family, but I had to choose between my career and my family. Why can't I have BOTH?
My wife and I talked about real estate as a career. At first, I was skeptical. She suggested I reach out to a close family friend who was a very successful realtor. I needed some clarification on what being a Realtor was all about. But my friend gave me the confidence I was looking for.
